Customer Connections Development Engineer
$140k - $161k + 12.75% superannuation (9 day fortnight)$159k - $182k + 12.75% superannuation (10 day fortnight)
You’ll be right in the thick of things in this role. Day to day you’ll communicate with internal and external customers, produce concept scoping and estimates to support Multi-Million Dollar projects to deliver Queensland renewable energy targets and QEJP program. Supporting economic development across Queensland with renewable energy solutions for Hospitals, Mines, Harbour Ports, Defence Projects and infrastructure upgrades.
Youll enable connection of Solar and Wind farms and lead the move toward BESS and other future major customer projects.
Working closely with the Major Projects Engineering Lead you’ll play a critical role in liaising with internal and external customers to deliver and support project approved works within agreed timelines and budget requirements.
You hold Bachelors degree in Engineering acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering category and equivalent demonstrated experience.
Youre well known for developing good working relationships with team members and other stakeholders to identify and understand customer needs and expectations.
You have a high degree of knowledge and experience in the application of the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of electrical network infrastructure ranging from LV to 220kV including different types of Generator connections.
Major Projects Engineering Lead
$164k - 181k + 12.75% superannuation (9 day fortnight)$186k - $204k + 12.75% superannuation (10 day fortnight)
You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers across the state to deliver effective and timely responses to complex project customer projects.
You’ll support professional technical development across your team providing mentoring, coaching and advice to continuously build capabilities across concept scoping, estimating, site specific connection advice and LV generator assessment (incl IES) requirements.
Day to day you’ll manage allocations of work, schedule resources and monitor the RBD (Required by Date) and financial spend during the life cycle of the projects. You support the team through the development of critical Major Projects across Queensland.
As a Leader you will direct, influence and engage with key stakeholders to enable Customer expectations while meeting Energy Queensland requirements.
You hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering (acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering category) or Business (or related discipline) and a current C Class Driver’s.
Youre known for you experience and ability to lead high performing technical teams.
You’re up to date with current industry trends and have the ability to implement workforce capability planning to ensure the delivery of future network requirements.
Technical Solutions Senior Engineer
$164k - 181k + 12.75% superannuation (9 day fortnight)
$186k - $204k + 12.75% superannuation (10 day fortnight)
You’ll provide technical advice, support, and training to Customer Connections Development Engineers and Project Officers.
You’ll be responsible for reviewing and endorsing technical concept scopes and business cases to support Multi-Million Dollar programs of work. You’ll play a critical role in identifying improvement opportunities and developing and implementing efficient processes to ensure effective and quality delivery of work.
Youll ensure the team’s skills and knowledge evolve to meet ongoing Customer technical requirements and industry direction.
You hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering, acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering category and equivalent demonstrated experience. You're a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ).
You have knowledge and previous experience in the application of the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of electrical network infrastructure ranging from LV to 220kV.
