Reporting to the Head of Digital & Ecommerce, you will be responsible for the design and development of engaging Customer Experiences for Oroton.com. You'll design and enhance the online customer journey, utilising data-driven insights to personalise experiences and support the development of new features and functionalities for our websites.
Through a deep understanding of our customer needs, you will translate these insights into practical website features and functionalities that not only meet, but exceed expectations. In collaboration with the Brand team, your role is crucial in creating a visually appealing and intuitive digital experience that resonates with our brand and customers.
You'll excel in this role if you enjoy:
- Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to identify opportunities to optimise our user experiences.
- Leading the team through the design process from insight to ideation, prototyping and testing possible solutions right through to finished designs to hand over to developers.
- Providing direction to the broader team of to ensure the best possible experiences are achieved as your solutions progress through delivery.
- Implementing repeatable approaches (design patterns, templates, guides) across the digital design practice to minimise cost and complexity.
What will you bring?
- Excellent understanding of design principles, design-thinking methodology and user-research
- Previous experience as a UX/UI Designer with a record of delivering high quality design solutions and implementation
- Ability to use programs such as Figma, Miro and Confluence (or an ability to learn quickly)
- Capability in utilising analytics tools, including the setup of reporting and monitoring for the optimised changes.
- A natural collaborator with an ability to facilitate difficult discussions in a psychologically safe and open way.
- Proven experience in Customer Experience management within the fashion retail industry.
- Experience working on an optimisation program including A/B testing methodologies, in an ecommerce environment (strongly preferred)
