Customer Requests Officer

This role is an ongoing, temporary role offering Full Time hours Monday to Friday and based at head office in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.Client DetailsOur client is committed to delivering reliable, safe, and affordable electricity while pioneering innovative solutions for a sustainable energy future.DescriptionThis critical role supports the clients Customer Requests, engaging with customers to provide advice, support project applications and ensure customer compliance requirements and high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved. The role involves uncovering each customer's specific needs and offering solutions tailored to those needs.ProfileThe role also involves communicating and interacting with internal teams and stakeholders, to ensure a smooth delivery between pre and post offer activities are achieved.

• Successful completion of VCE or equivalent, or relevant electrical industry experience and demonstrated work experience in a similar type of role
• An ability to learn about the electricity distribution industry, as well as the relevant policies, principles, and modelling principles associated with this role
• Be a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills, stakeholder management skills and a drive to see cases through from start to finish
• Be an effective negotiator, be able to have tough conversations, be passionate about delivering best results, and love working in an interesting team.
