Randstad, in collaboration with the NSW Electoral Commission, are seeking Customer Service Operators and Data Entry Operators to join the team for Local Government elections 2024!

• Based in Sydney CBD before relocating to Sydney Olympic Park
• $34.58/hour + super
• Positions begin in June 2024
• Contract length up to 4 months

Please see detailed job description for two separate positions below:Customer Service Operator Position:You will be the frontline support for political participants, providing exceptional Customer Service and assistance with various election-related inquiries.Responsibilities:

• Provide Customer Service to political participants, including candidates, councilors, and registered political parties.
• Answer questions on funding and disclosure, nominations, electoral material, and other election-related inquiries.
• Assist participants in navigating online applications and platforms.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and seek assistance as required to address participant inquiries effectively.

Key Skills:

• Experience in using computerized systems for data management and Customer Service.
• Strong attention to detail; accuracy is paramount.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word for email communication and document processing.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions diligently and adhere to strict guidelines.

Data Entry Position:You will play a crucial role in supporting the Nominations Team Supervisor by undertaking Data Entry tasks for candidates and candidate group nominations into our online system.Responsibilities:

• Perform Data Entry tasks for candidates and candidate group nominations into the online system.
• Apply approved guidelines to ensure accuracy in Data Entry.
• Assist with filing duties as required to maintain organized records.
• Promptly escalate any issues encountered during Data Entry processes.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in using computerized systems for data management and processing.
• Strong attention to detail; accuracy is paramount.
• Experience in Data Entry, with a focus on quality rather than speed.
• Ability to follow instructions diligently and adhere to strict guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word, with the ability to navigate software efficiently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for clear information exchange.
