Job description

Job Summary:

The Customer Service and Dispatch Coordinator will be in charge of providing excellent Customer Service to online customers via our CS platform, as well as processing online orders and coordinating receipt, pick and pack and other activities in the warehouse. The perfect candidate will have had Customer Service experience for online channels, as well as be an efficient multitasker and good people person. They will also need to be able to collaborate with and support our sales and marketing teams to make sure customers are served on time and up to Tutu du Monde standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

(Customer service:)

  • Work with our current Customer Service system Gorgias to respond to all customer enquiries in a timely fashion
  • Be capable of resolving most inquiries independently
  • Be able to recognise when an inquiry needs to be escalated to the appropriate manager for a timely resolution  
  • Work with our returns system Loop and process all returns in a timely fashion
  • Make sure Tutu du Monde’s Customer Service levels are up to the company’s expected high standard

(Online pick and pack:)

  • Process all online orders in Shopify, Starshipit, etc
  • Pick and pack orders, or depending on volumes, coordinate for other team members pick and pack the orders
  • Make sure all orders are prepared for timely pick up by shipping companies
  • Work with the appropriate manager to roster casuals and guarantee appropriate staffing for the pick and pack operation  

(All channels receipt, pick and pack:)

  • Work with other staff members to coordinate 
    • the receipt and storage of boxes as they arrive to the warehouse
    • the pick and pack for the wholesale channel
    • the pick and pack for the retail channel
    • the appropriate input or transfer of stock in the system to ensure system accuracy with respect to stock levels and location  
  • Work with the appropriate manager to roster casuals and guarantee appropriate staffing for   

Desired attributes:

  • Previous demonstrated experience within a Customer Service role, ideally online Customer Service 
  • Ability to autonomously prioritise workloads efficiently
  • Good computer skills
  • A people person, able to lead others 
  • Able to do physical work like lifting boxes, unpacking deliveries, etc as required
  • Strong work ethic, reliable and a positive attitude
  • Ability to meet deadlines and organise time efficiently.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication 
  • Ability to work in a small team
