We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join our Sydney team to focus on the growth of several key national customers.

Your new role

As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in the achievement of strategic objectives and developing long lasting relationships. On a day to day you will be;
  • Elevating, and developing key stakeholder relationships with clients to strengthen knowledge, and relationships with Hays
  • Determining relevant opportunities and projects, and broadening services provided
  • Influencing and managing client expectations
  • Achieving growth through execution of client specific account management plans
  • Protecting and building effective customer partnerships
  • Providing insights through analysing data, case studies and customer solutions shared at regular review meetings
  • Fostering positive relationships with all relevant Hays teams nationally, driving focus on your portfolio of customers, clarity of the objectives set, and achievement of goals
  • Working with leaders to ensure delivery meets client expectations, enabling us to maximise opportunities


What you'll need to succeed

We hire based on potential and our people are diverse with many different backgrounds. As an experienced Account Manager, you will already have 4+ years in a recruitment environment and at least 2+ years in client or account management role. Along with this we know you are;
  • Committed and confident in building partnerships with customers, delivering an exceptional experience to everyone you engage with
  • Ambitious to think beyond to achieve improved solutions for clients, candidates and colleagues
  • Adaptable, agile and able to constantly seek new opportunities to further develop accounts
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to network and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Highly motivated and thrive in an inclusive and dynamic environment
  • Confident with analysing data and developing insights to discuss account and market trends to deliver long term hiring strategies
