Viking Rentals is a successful Australian hire business supplying portable toilets and temporary fencing to builders throughout Australia. We are looking for a customer focused dispatcher based in our National Head Office at Acacia Ridge. The role is permanent and full time with an immediate start.
This crucial role is multi-purpose and includes Customer Service, dispatching and admin.
- Plan and dispatch driver workloads in various states ensuring timely delivery to customers
- Optimising routes focusing on the efficient use of resources
- Provide updates to customers on the status of their products and services
- Customer service, answering new inquiries via phone and email
- Processing sales quotations and orders
- Supporting our driver, operations and management teams
- Contribute to process and system continual improvement
- General office administration duties
The successful candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in a similar position preferred but not essential
- The ability to problem-solve and identify efficiencies
- The ability to plan and pivot in a dynamic environment
- Proactive approach to answering customer queries
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
- Excellent telephone and email manner
