Our client, a well-respected Australian software company, is looking to bring on-board a Customer Service / Application Support / to join their growing software business here in Brisbane. The Role
This role will suit someone who comes from a Customer Service background who is either a fresh Computer graduate or someone with 1-2 years’ experience in an IT / Application Support role. There will be the opportunity to grow within the company into a more technical role if keen to do so.
Although FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED you MUST be a technically minded, enthusiastic, customer focused person who is willing to learn and progress.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial contact of technical support for customers via phone, email, or chat.
- Address customer requests for assistance promptly.
- Utilise knowledge and skills to meet customer technical needs and resolve basic problems within established specifications and defined standards.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience by showcasing excellent communication skills, responsive follow-through, and advocating for customer issues within the support team and other internal departments.
- Ensure timely follow-up with customers, maintaining an exceptional support experience.
- Create comprehensive case notes and documentation for customer issues.
- Prioritise incoming issues and route them to the appropriate resources for resolution.
