Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service to our clients and customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Providing product and service information to customers
- Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Processing customer orders
- Being the first in line to answer phone calls overflown from reception
- Following up customer orders received to obtain missing information
- Liaising with freight companies for missing/ delayed freight
- Liaise with suppliers when lead times are close to expiring but goods not received
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- You will have your HSC, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as problem solving abilities.
- As we are operating within the building / architectural markets a strong technical interest is important.
- Computer literacy is a must with knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Any previous Customer Service experience will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
