Customer Service Assistant

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service to our clients and customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Providing product and service information to customers
• Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Processing customer orders
• Being the first in line to answer phone calls overflown from reception
• Following up customer orders received to obtain missing information
• Liaising with freight companies for missing/ delayed freight
• Liaise with suppliers when lead times are close to expiring but goods not received
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• You will have your HSC, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as problem solving abilities.
• As we are operating within the building / architectural markets a strong technical interest is important.
• Computer literacy is a must with knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Any previous Customer Service experience will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
