Icehouse Sampling are a customer manufacturer based in Western Sydney and Victoria. We do this by working very closely with our customers to ensure that everything we make for them is delivered in alignment with their unique brand attributes and to understand how our products will be used to help drive sales growth.
An opportunity has arisen for a well-organised, experienced Administration Assistant to work closely with our team on site at Orchard Hills. The main objectives of the role are to ensure that team has support purchasing, generating production work orders, answering the telephone as required and other administrative duties as needed. This role is offered on a part time basis, with expected working hours to sit between 20-25 hours per week (dependent on workload), working days and times can be flexible to suit your lifestyle and other personal arrangements. However, given that we are a manufacturer, working hours will need to be completed on site at Orchard Hills.
Qualifications & experience
- 5+ years experience in an Administrative role
- 3+ years experience working with customers
- Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
Tasks & responsibilities
- Answering the phones and email enquiries
- Inputting work orders into our software system
- Purchasing materials
- Update clients on the progress of their projects where required
- Ensuring all cross functional work between Melbourne and Sydney is organised and delivered on time
- Chasing up suppliers/ vendors to ensure they deliver within the required timeframes as per project scheduling
- Communicating with internal resources to ensure prompt updates and information sharing so that projects run on time and on budget
- Counting stock as required and updating our inventory system
- Other administrative duties as required
