Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities and assist in generating new business.
- Quoting and Pricing: Provide accurate and competitive pricing for freight forwarding services.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, issues, and concerns promptly.
- Administration: Updating both cost and sell rates accurately into system as well as autorating regular client rates.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all industry regulations and company policies.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
Qualifications:
- Experience in freight forwarding/shipping line preferred
- Strong Customer service and communication skills.
- Sales experience with potential client prospects is a plus.
- Proficient in Cargowise and MS Office suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations is a plus.
