Josies Transport has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our Customer Service Team on a casual basis. Our expectation would be 10-15 hours per week with the expectation for additional hours to cover leave when required. This position will play an integral role in assisting the team in the day-to-day functions of our business.
The ideal candidates will require both strong interpersonal and good time management skills, commitment to follow through with customer issues, a positive “can-do” attitude, and great computer skills.

Key Responsibilities and Job Requirements
- Address all customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Handle each customer interaction with empathy and resilience, adapting to diverse needs and situations.
- Educate customers on how to use our self-service platforms effectively.
- Liaise frequently with on-site staff and proactively build relationships with key operations staff to resolve any customer queries or requests
- Be willing to dedicate your time to diagnosing freight issues in real-time by having a proactive and strategic mindset to Customer Service by utilising multiple avenues towards problem-solving which include inspecting and investigating freight throughout the Depot and speaking with numerous staff members on the floor
- Precise data entry skills and excellent attention to detail
- Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and can prioritise tasks
- Previous exposure to transport & logistics, is preferred but not essential.
- Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
