A bit about the role
This role will support with the implementation and administration of Statutory Planning controls.
You will provide front line resolution and assistance for customer enquiries, while assisting in ensuring the provision of efficient, high-quality Planning and Subdivisions services to the public.
What you’ll deliver
- Assist other Planning staff in providing efficient and quality Planning Services.
- Prepare draft Committee and Council reports, and reports on matters delegated to senior officers, together with appropriate recommendations for consideration by the Manager and/or Team Leader.
- Provide advice to the Team Leader and Head Of on Statutory Planning issues when requested.
- Act as a solution focused customer experience specialist to resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
- Prepare correspondence relating to reports, enquiries and practice notes for The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
- Assist senior staff within the Planning Department with research and administrative support as required.
- Provide administrative support to the team.
What you’ll bring
- Substantial progress towards a relevant Degree or Diploma desirable.
- Current Victorian drivers license.
- Excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a face paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check & Eligibility to Work check,
