Job description

We are establishing a 6 month open pool for permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.

About the roles 

Client Contact OfficerThe Client Contact Officer will provide high quality Client Contact service functions across South Metropolitan TAFE to prospective students and current students.

Customer ServiceThe Customer Service Officer provides a high standard of Customer Service across digital channels and face to face across South Metropolitan TAFE’s campuses. Customer Service performs a highly technical role from enquiry to enrolment in conjunction with the Student Administration and Admissions teams.

To be suitable for the pool you will ideally have experience in a customer-centric environment, with well-developed Customer Service skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers and staff at all levels.  Applicants should also demonstrate the ability to work well within a team environment and display good time management and organisational skills. Good digital skills and experience in the use of business systems (such as MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) systems) is also essential for the roles.

Other Conditions and EligibilityIf you are successful, during the life of the pool you may be offered appointment to similar & subsequent vacancies within the College, within other TAFE Colleges or across WA Government (subject to your permission being granted). 

As this is an open recruitment pool, the following should be noted:

  • The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applicants and will assess on a regular basis
  • Suitable applicants will be placed in the pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur
  • Appointments may be made from this pool until 28 December 2024 

Eligibility for employment is subject to you obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance and, if this position involves contact with children, a Working with Children (WWC) Card.

To be eligible for appointment you must have a working visa (for fixed term contract appointments) or permanent residency (for permanent appointments).
