Due to growth, they are currently seeking a full-time Technology Support Specialist to join their Brisbane office. The role entails national responsibility for providing timely, efficient, and effective IT support services to the firm.
What Success Looks Like
- Provide help desk support for a variety of technology applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Manage user accounts on the Microsoft Windows network, including the exchange email system and Cisco call manager.
- Assist in the maintenance and support of all IT infrastructure hardware and software, encompassing switches, routers, servers, SANs, desktops, laptops, MFDs, Cisco phones, and mobile devices.
- Resolve network scanning and printing issues.
- Address desktop hardware issues.
- Utilize and maintain the helpdesk database.
- Manage and troubleshoot mobile devices and system remote access.
- Set up and troubleshoot audiovisual and video conferencing systems.
- Monitor helpdesk email queries after hours as required.
- 2+ years' experience in Technology support, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
- Solid knowledge of PC hardware and software, including Windows desktops, MS Office 2016 Suite, and hardware peripherals (printers and laptops).
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Logging and correct handling of all relevant incident/service requests.
- Ability to conduct initial investigation and diagnosis of issues.
- A willingness to learn and be self-motivated.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Prior experience working within a helpdesk environment.
