The Company:

Your Role:
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Answering all incoming customer calls/chats in a friendly, professional and efficient manner including conducting follow up/outbound calls and emails as required.
- Dealing with enquiries, complaints, and requests for information or services by clarifying customer needs and responding appropriately to the requirements of each customer.
- Interpreting Council policies and providing appropriate advice in relation to Local Government town planning, building surveying, engineering, waste, traffic, rates and accounts receivable, law enforcement, and environmental health matters.
- Accurately record customer requests in the CRM system.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a Customer Service role
- Experience working in local, state, or federal government entity preferredComputer literacy, demonstrating experience in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
- Well-developed verbal & written communication skills including the ability to prepare short correspondence.
- Effective problem solving & conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team and independently.
- Fluency in a second language is desirable.
COVID-19 Vaccination certification: The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide evidence of their double vaccination status, or a valid medical contraindication certificate, prior to the department finalising the appointment of the candidate.
