THE OPPORTUNITY 

We have an exciting 12 Months Max Term opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join our highly skilled team in North Ryde, Sydney. 

We are looking for a proactive individual who has a passion for Customer Service and enjoys working in a collaborative fast-paced environment.  We employ a hybrid working charter with 3 days in the office and 2 days of flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Ensure the correct capture of meter readings via inbound and outbound phone calls as well as data entry of faxed and emailed readings 
  • Perform validation and adjustment procedures to enhance the accuracy of data, to ensure invoices that are generated in a timely fashion 
  • Respond to all customer queries in a clear and professional manner and maintain a customer centric approach to all activities 
  • Proactively review and maintain customer data information to ensure clean quality of data. 
  • The creation and maintenance of customer’s My Accounts. 
  • Contacting customers to resolve meter reading errors and assist in getting customers onto automated solutions. 

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
  • Ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal methods. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy. 
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude as well as working independently 
  • Adept at multi-tasking and working under high pressure situations 
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Adept at collaboration and proactively looking for areas to improve 
  • Be system and procedure oriented 
  • Previous experience in an invoicing role will be desirable
