4-6 Weeks Temp work in Alice Springs
Pay: $38 per hour
Location: Alice Springs, NT
Contract Type: Temp for 4–6 WeeksYour new role
Providing friendly and courteous service to Alice Springs residents and visitors, including reception duties, receipting of payments, telephone operation and assistance with general enquiries. The Customer Service Officer will report to the Manager of the Finance Department.
Key Responsibilities:
General enquiries and payment receipting for customers at the front counter and over the telephone
Support of various finance operations and other duties as directed in line with the position description, including Finance Department backup as directed

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a diversity of people in person and on the telephone (Essential)
The ability to stay composed and be professional in a Customer Service environment (Essential)
Effective office skills including cash handling and computer data management skills (Essential)
Effective teamwork skills (Essential)
Personal initiative with the ability to work unsupervised (Essential)
Ability to maintain confidentiality between client and customers (Essential)
High personal grooming standards (Essential)
Knowledge of Alice Springs and Central Australia (Desirable)
Experience in Local Government (Desirable)
Experience in Debtors, Creditors & Payroll (Desirable)
Understanding of and familiarity with Aboriginal Culture Employee (Desirable)
