As a Customer Service Center Officer, you play a pivotal role in fostering the connection between the Council and its customers. Your responsibilities include delivering top-notch service through various channels such as phone, in-person at counters, email, and online platforms. Serving as the initial point of contact, your role is crucial in bolstering the Council's public image and optimizing the efficiency of the Customer Operations team.
The full-time permanent position provides an annual salary of $72,704, complemented by an extra 11% superannuation, and includes a monthly assigned day off.
You are based within our bright, modern and sustainable 311 Glenferrie Road office on the corner of High Street and Glenferrie Road in Malvern where boutique stores, cafes and health clubs are in abundance. From the office you can easily walk to Malvern Gardens, High Street Armadale or Glenferrie Road.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess prior experience in a dynamic Customer Service setting, outstanding communication abilities. Successful applicants must also demonstrate proven expertise in time management and possess strong computer literacy to effectively fulfill the role's key responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. The capacity to handle continuous inquiries and requests for information and action from customers is essential.
