We are currently seeking a dynamic Customer Service Officer to join our National Customer Service team. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a knowledgeable and motivated individual who wants to advance their career in a fast-paced industry. About the role:
Reporting to the National Customer Service Manager, you will provide a consistent level of client support and be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Sourcing & expediting products from suppliers.
- Perform pump sizing, selection and spares parts as per customer request.
- Monitoring & maintaining stock levels.
- Help our customers solve tricky technical issues (in a non-technical way) over phone & email.
- Collaborate with the external sales team to develop efficient methods for handling issues with our focus customers.
- Monitor the customer satisfaction levels and develop methods for increasing them.
- Maintain adequate company and product knowledge to provide swift and proficient service.
What will make you successful in this role:
- You will be passionate about Customer Service and enjoy working in collaboration with others.
- You will be an effective communicator, organised, with good time management skills.
- You be adaptable and have a desire to learn.
What experience and skills you will need:
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer-centric environment within a relevant industry (preferred).
- Knowledge of pump types and selections (desirable).
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products (preferred).
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Word) (desirable). Whilst not essential, experience of using an ERP system would be advantageous.
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively without compromising service levels.
