About the businessOur client is a busy retail organisation with stores across Australia and a strong network of corporate customers.
They are seeking a Customer Service Officer to join their head office on a permanent, full-time basis to provide consistent and exceptional support to their corporate customers.
This role requires you to work on an on-call basis, when allocated as part of your rotating roster. You must be available to work evenings / early mornings and weekends every 3 weeks consistently.
About the role
Day to day you will ensure a high quality standard of administrative support to various divisions and ensure corporate customers have an exceptional experience. Key duties will include:
- Take inbound phone calls from corporate customers providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for the broader business to leverage and maintain relationships.
- Coordinate customer accounts, orders, invoicing, and collections.
- Contact customers for inquiries via phone, email, or fax.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Provide after-hours on-call coverage.
- Process customer payments, including credit card and direct debit transactions.
- Assist in credit applications and registration according to PPSR legislation.
- Support Credit Manager with various duties.
- Administer Retail Fuel Cards and manage general administration tasks, including daily stock balances and reconciliations.

- Demonstrated experience in Customer Service, ideally within an Account Management setting where relationships are of utmost importance.

- Exceptional communication and administration skills.
- Solid Excel skills.
- Knowledge of billing / invoicing processes.
