About the Role
We require an experienced, passionate and nurturing casual Customer Service Officer to supervise and interact with children in our Creche team at Beatty Park Leisure Centre.
Key duties of the role will include:
- Participate in stimulating and developmentally appropriate play activities that promote children’s emotional, intellectual, physical and social development
- Care, supervise and attend to children while in the creche
- Attend to the personal hygiene of children as needed
- Assist the Team Leader Creche in the daily administrative duties associated with the creche
- Provide a high level of internal and external Customer Service and comply with the City’s Customer Service Charter at all times
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a creche or childcare setting and available to work a range of shifts including Saturday mornings. We are also looking for individuals who have the ability to show initiative, build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and a friendly “can-do” attitude. A current Working with Children Check is essential. Previous experience working in a leisure centre or local government environment will also be highly regarded.
