AddressDeakinACTIVE is looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our Warrnambool team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, outgoing and takes initiative. The Customer Service Officer is the face of DeakinACTIVE’s gym facilities, and your role will be, but not limited to, meeting and greeting participants, providing support to the business, making sure the facility runs smoothly and supplying assistance to the Management Team when necessary, providing high quality Customer Service to our members in our facility whilst also maintaining a welcoming and inclusive gym environment.

About you:
Essential
- A positive, energetic attitude, excellent communication, interpersonal skills
- A willingness to learn
- Current CPR
- Current Level 2 First Aid
- Current National Police Check or Working with Children Card
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
Desirable
- Administration experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Experience in a gym environment
- Social media and marketing skills
- An interest in Gym and sports
- Passion for sport
- Background in Basketball, Netball, Badminton and/or Volleyball (desirable)
- Experience in competition management or game day operations (desirable)
- Ability to lead others
- Confidence to work in a stand-alone (solo-worker) environment
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of Basketball, Netball, Volleyball and Badminton
