The role
- Initial 6-month temporary role (possibility of extending or becoming permanent).
- Full time hours 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
- Office Based Role (new Scoresby office with on-site parking)
- Immediate Start
Duties
- Answer Sales Support calls and emails promptly and professionally.
- Manage the sales inbox, responding to all queries within 24 hours.
- Provide requested inventory, delivery, and dispatch details within the same day.
- Generate and distribute sales/inventory reports on schedule.
- Release backorders promptly when stock becomes available.
- Handle customer return and credit requests efficiently.
- Stay informed about product features and benefits to assist customers effectively.
- Update customers on any ETA or order changes promptly.
- Coordinate with logistics/3PL partners to meet delivery schedules and inform customers.
- Liaise with the credit/finance department when necessary.
- Support the field sales team with stock and delivery queries.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities and enhance customer support/experience.
- Customer Service/Sales Support experience gained in a similar role.
- Experience in the HVAC/air conditioning industry is a plus.
- Clear and concise communication, adaptable to the audience.
- Excellent attention to detail in both written and verbal communication.
- Practical application of commercial knowledge.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist and support colleagues.
- Effective time management to meet objectives within given time frames.
- Attractive temporary rate, full time hours, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
