About the role
The Customer Service officer will provide high-quality customer experiences to members and visitors of the Willoughby City Council. The Customer Service centre acts as the single point of contact for all of Council’s customer enquiries.
This role is responsible for enquiries ranging from Council’s services including Development applications and Construction certificates, Waste services, Rates, Animal registrations, Infrastructure repairs and maintenance, Bushland and methods of payment.
Requirements
- Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
- Reliable, motivated, shows initiative and commitment to continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills including an ability to negotiate and resolve conflict in a professional manner
- Accept and process all payments for Council’s services and undertake accurate end-of-day banking procedures
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems
