Customer Service Officer
Full-Time, Fixed Term Contract through to 9 August 2024
Total Package $70,621.20 per annum (inclusive of superannuation)
WALGA is looking for a, pro-active Customer Service Officer who has experience in a client facing, corporate receptionist role. With a passion for engaging with various levels of stakeholders, our ideal candidate will be seeking a full-time position in a team and organisation who pride themselves on their support for their people.
This position is a key member of the Association and Corporate Governance Team who are responsible for internal governance processes, facilities and vehicle services for the Association, and providing high level Customer Service to Members and the general public.

Learn from senior staff and develop your building and facilities management skills
Contribute to the provision of relevant, timely and high quality administration support for the whole business
Make reception your own and suggest and implement process and workflow improvement ideas
Enhance the positive profile and perception of the Association through the Customer Service experience stakeholders receive both face to face and over the phone
The ideal candidate will have:
The ability to commence the day at 8:15am
Communication and interpersonal skills characterised by patience, clarity and empathy at a personal, written and telephone level
Strong Customer Service focus and commitment to providing quality Customer Service with demonstrated ability to relate to people from various backgrounds
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff from across the organisation and work in conjunction with them to ensure smooth operation of reception
Organisation and time management skills to establish priorities and meet deadlines
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
