About the role
Be a part of where it all happens and join our Customer Service Workforce in the Emergency Department, Main Reception and Wards at Goulburn Valley Health.
We are recruiting for multiple roles in our front facing positions as Customer Service Officers (CSO) and Switchboard Computer Clerk.
The CSO plays an integral role in the smooth running and functioning of our communication, administration and service at the hospital.
Your days will be varied and no days will be the same, dealing with general administration duties, answering phones, data entry, customer and patient enquiries, admitting patients, collating their information and paperwork, assisting their families and providing a genuine caring approach to all those who deal with GV Health.

We are looking for:
- Demonstrated ability to organise tasks and environment with minimal supervision and under conditions of competing demands
- Capacity to interact professionally with staff and consumers and maintain high levels of confidentiality and patient privacy
- Flexibility and the ability or pick up shifts at short notice. Rostering is based on a 24 hour, 7 days a week rolling roster. Staff will be rostered to work weekends and public holidays and should be available to assist in covering leave
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to be flexible within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Basic computer skills
