International freight forwarder, who offers import and export freight forwarding and customs brokerage services to worldwide customers with effective solutions that are specifically tailored to the customer's individual needs.
The Position
Provide superior Customer Service to a portfolio of clients.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Liaise with interstate and overseas offices.
- Manage documentation and liaise with origin office and imports team for correct documentation and transhipment details
- Manage clients' accounts and keep them update to date with their shipment milestones.
- Find and implement time and cost-effective solutions as issues arise
- Quote existing customers for active and non active shipments
- Contact between 8-10 existing and prospective customers every month as a sales call
- Update client quotes and create weekly reports
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in:
- Export or import freight experience in the Australian market.
- Strong and professional communication skills
- Problem solving skills and a "can do" attitude.
- Superior Customer Service
- CargoWise software experience
- Organised and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as a team and autonomously.
- Must have full rights to work in Australia
