Are you an experienced Freight & Customer Service Coordinator? This is an opportunity to join a great team within a national transport company located in Forrestfield. This role is a permanent position to start immediately working Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 15:00pm with opportunity for weekend work on occasion.

The role:
- Liaising with customers regarding incoming, outgoing consignments and general Customer Service enquiries.
- Ensuring that all freight that requires a booking time slot for delivery is booked in time to align with customer requirements
- Monitoring and enforcing systems use, with compliance and accuracy.
- Ensure Effective communications with Customers & senior management at all levels.
- Reporting and notification of discrepancies to on time delivery of goods.
- Complete KPI's for designated clients and process in a timely manner
- Provide direction and assistance to operational teams & promote improvement in Customer Service.
To apply you will need:
- Proven experience within a similar role within the transport industry
- Experience using SAP is desirable
- Intermediate or Advanced with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Police clearance is required or willing to obtain
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
