We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join us on our journey of exciting growth and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and action service requests for designated accounts in a timely and professional manner
- Work closely with the local operations teams, overseas offices, and product functions to achieve successful outcomes for clients
- Maintain client rates and provide quotations with support from the commercial team
- Invoicing of client portfolio
- Update Customer SOP’s and ensure accuracy of system data
- Assist with implementation of new accounts
- Attend customer visits in conjunction with management and commercial teams where applicable
- Provide status reports to key stakeholders
- Deal with complaints professionally to maintain good relations and implement corrective actions
- Promote and recommend Online Manager/Röhlig Real Time to clients
Requirements
- Thorough understanding and experience of international freight forwarding
- Experience with Break Bulk / RORO cargo (highly desirable)
- Customer service driven attitude, highly motivated, proactive attitude with the ability to find efficient solutions
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, co-operative working style, informing internal stakeholders/departments pro-actively
- Effective time management with ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
- Able to identify potential process improvements and implement necessary changes
- Proficient in CargoWise operating system preferred
