At Your Renovation Studio, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and high-quality products to our valued customers. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Customer Service/Retail Sales Representative to join our dynamic team on a casual basis, with a minimum of 25 hours per week, offering flexibility to potentially increase to full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the store
- Monitoring, managing, responding, and acting on multiple company email accounts
- Answering phones and providing exceptional customer service
- Assisting with loading trades and invoicing trades
- Making up orders for trades and customers
- Maintaining store cleanliness, including emptying bins, dusting, stocking coffee amenities, and organising showroom displays and tiles
- Managing sales and keeping stock levels accurate
- Generating sales and handling quotes, invoices, and purchase orders
What We’re Looking For:
Outgoing and Friendly Personality: You should be approachable with positive body language, making customers feel welcome.
Customer-Centric Attitude: A patient and caring approach, willing to take the time to assist customers thoroughly without rushing.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of customers, including trades and management.
Attention to Detail: Precision in handling quotes, invoices, purchase orders, and maintaining stock levels.
Initiative: Proactively address customer needs, manage tasks, and improve processes without needing constant supervision.
Experience and Skills: Ability to work under pressure, familiarity with POS systems, and experience generating sales. Knowledgeable about products and able to provide detailed information. Computer/system skills are also essential.
Values: Commitment to customer service excellence, maintaining quality and cleanliness, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications: A forklift license is beneficial, and a valid driver’s license is a must.
Availability: Note that availability to work on Saturdays is required.
