THE ROLE:
The main purpose of this position is to provide exceptional service to our clients by ensuring quality responses to incoming phone queries and accurate input of data into the CRM system pertaining to all communications with clients.
You will support the sales team with customer requests and orders, handle all things accounts; process payments, invoicing, statements andcollection calls, as well as assist in cross-departmental projects.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Service & Support
- Answer incoming calls and assist with client enquiries or direct to the right department
- Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Assisting with the coordination of training programs, including LMS support
- Sales Support
- Place orders for customers and forward to dispatch team for completion
- Liaise with freight providers to follow up on late deliveries
- Liaise with Warehouse and Quality teams to process returns and customer feedback
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Review and release customer orders based on applicable credit limits
- Update and verify new and existing customer information (address, name or ownership change)
- Complete accounts forms for new customers and suppliers
- Daily payment processing (credit cards, cheques, deposits, open and close procedures)
- Assist Head Office with funds reconciliation for customers and suppliers
- Conduct collection calls for overdue accounts
- Create order requisitions, enter and receive purchase orders
- Provide accounting figures and documents to Head Office as required
ABOUT YOU:
- University degree not essential, but is considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Advanced interpersonal skills and the ability work in a team
- Detail oriented
