About the role
Based in our Cannonvale Office we are looking to fill a Full-Time position in Customer Service & Sales Support as part of our team of Sales Representatives covering Mackay & the Whitsundays.
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Analyse existing/potential customer needs
- Supporting our offsite Area Managers
- Promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Track sales and provide status reports
- Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Weekly/Daily customer calls as per designated call cycle plan.
- Utilise rewards and sales programs to promote growth with new and existing customers.
- Continuously promote WFS to new and existing customers.
- Keep abreast of best practices in the market and communicate trends back to the business
- Meeting customers at our office and discussing their business requirements.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Exceptional time management skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and popular Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Proven willingness to learn and improve
- Advanced IT skills ( Excel and exposure to ERP systems ).
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and agreed deliverables.
- Present yourself in a professional and respectable manner.
- Excellent phone manner.
- Flexibility with work hours.
- Sound knowledge of the region.
- A background in the food/hospitality industry (not essential but preferred)

About the company
We are a family owned business, currently employing 60 staff. We have been operating in the area for over 35 years and we have just expanded our warehouse and office facilities here in Cannonvale. We are also part of the Countrywide Group of Independent Distributors which is the largest group in Australia and this gives us National support from all the major Food manufacturers and suppliers Australia wide. We pride ourselves on being able to go above and beyond for our customers offering them access to whatever they may need for their business. We also have a work Social club and supply staff lunches weekly.
