- ASAP to 3 months assignment with potential to extend, pending business and performance requirements
About the role
As an Information Officer, you will play a vital role in providing routine operational services including file classification, document retrieval, and offsite storage management. You will also support management and staff by providing records support and assisting with various tasks. This role will suit individuals with transferrable skills in records management and/or administration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine operational services including file classification, document retrieval, and disposal actions.
- Process daily incoming and outgoing mail and document registration.
- Update and maintain operational records management procedures and guides.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support in the use of Arts Queensland's (TRIM equivalent).
- Contribute to projects involving system enhancement, data migration, and operational records management.
- Receive and manage helpdesk requests for operational records management services.
- Maintain onsite records storage areas, conduct records audits, and prepare reports.
- Undertake validation and review requirements of AQ's Smart Grants applications.
- Other duties as requested.
About You
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Demonstrated ability to acquire quickly in using current record management systems, such as TRIM or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage work priorities effectively.
- Experience in using TRIM/HPRM or other electronic document and records management systems.
- Understanding of grants application processes and validations is desirable.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
- Be able to pass and hold national police check.
