The opportunity
The Customer Insights Specialist plays a key role in helping to deliver on key strategic objectives for QBE, it’s partners and customers. As part of the Customer Insights team, you will be instrumental in embedding the voice of the customer across the business. You will be a trusted advisor to multiple stakeholders, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative research to identify opportunities to deliver actionable insights to help stakeholders to deliver on their key business goals.
Your new role
Support senior members of the team to manage various research projects/programs including Strategic Ad Hoc Research Projects, Voice of Customer Programs, Syndicated Research Studies, Brand Health and Communication Trackers.
Preparation of insights briefs from stakeholder requirements and undertake quantitative and/or qualitative research if required (end to end management).
Analyse and synthesis of data from multiple sources to develop actionable insights based on business issues/opportunities at hand.
Support business decision making, strategy development and tactical delivery.
Provide support to executive reporting including Board updates and KPIs tracking for Leadership Teams.
Assist in the management of research suppliers through regular contact and guidance on projects.
Conduct insights to action workshops to help facilitate action and business planning activities.
About you
Previous experience in market research from either the agency or client side (this role will be suitable to those who want to move to client side from agency for the first time).
Proven ‘hands-on’ experience in quantitative research (Qualitative research exposure is a plus).
Experience with statistical tools such as Excel and Q (advanced modelling skill is a plus)
Experience in survey platforms such as Qualtrics, Sparq, Medallia, InMoment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail.
Demonstrable experience in questionnaire design, data analysis, insights generation, insights synthesis, reporting and storytelling.
Good understanding of statistical concepts.
Knowledge of services marketing and/or financials services or insurance (preferred).
