Ventia has exciting permanent full-time opportunities for vibrant and highly engaged individuals who are inspired by customer excellence within a call centre environment. Our call centre is located in the heart of the Parramatta CBD, close to public transport. At the Ventia Operations Centre, we work closely with a diverse range of clients. This exciting role will be specifically dealing with our clients within the Defence industry.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering $27.66 per hour under our Clerks Award > Adult Level 3, penalty rates apply for weekend shifts.

The shift is Wednesday - Sunday 7am - 3pm.

You must be an Australian citizen and be able to hold a defence clearance (police check).

A day in the life:

  • Provide high-quality customer service by telephone and email. Calls will range in complexity but predominantly be taking requests for maintenance work and following a process to create work order requests.
  • Respond to high volume inbound calls from defence personnel and members of the community.
  • Match customer needs to solutions and first call resolutions.
  • Case management of service outcomes/managing urgent or high priority work order needing fast resolution.

What you bring to the role:

  • Ability to listen and demonstrate empathy to customers.
  • Have strong passion for customer experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Must be tech savvy, have strong keyboard skills.
  • You enjoy a fast paced, high-volume environment.
