Reporting to the Construction Business Manager Regional, the Customer Support Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day product support, parts and services sales activities for an existing customer base to assist with the promise of lower total cost of ownership.

The successful individual will provide support to the Construction Business Manager Regional as required, whilst working closely with the Account Managers to ensure the seamless provision of service to the customer. The Customer Support Manager will manage a designated group of customers ensuring parts and service sales growth and is directly accountable for achieving market share outcomes.

Location: Geraldton, WA

Roster: Monday – Friday 8.5-hour days

To be successful the following is required: 

  • Significant proven experience in a similar role and in the resourcing industry
  • Sound commercial experience
  • Sound understanding of ‘Whole of Life Cost’ modelling concept
  • Intermediate computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Advanced communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
  • Intermediate negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
  • High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through with required actions
  • Ability to analyse data efficiency to negotiate sales and compile performance reports
  • Knowledge of Heavy Equipment Industry
