About Barwon Health
Barwon Health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is one of Victoria’s largest regional health services with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 8,700 staff and more than 1200 volunteers. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care, and subacute/rehabilitation. Care is provided to the community through over 30 key locations throughout the region.

With Barwon Health as our lead agency, the South West Alliance of Rural Health (SWARH) provides IT services as a consortium of public health agencies situated through-out the South West region of Victoria.
About the role
The IT Service Desk - Customer Support Officer role provides Level 1 IT support to our SWARH Members and Customers as the first point of contact. Part of a dedicated and dynamic team we provide high quality remote IT support, troubleshooting such things as software, hardware, clinical applications and account creation/modification. Our team also escalate issues to our Level 2 and 3 teams and SME's.
