As a Customs Broker, you will be responsible for:
- Supports the CDZ Manager in CDZ operations such as tax and duty declaration.
- Acts as the liaison with Custom Authorities and administration matters.
- Minimum two (2) to five (5) years experience in freight forwarding and/or customs industries.
- Previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and ocean-freight / Import operational roles (advantageous)
- Possesses relevant Customs qualification – ACS license. (Mandatory requirement)
- Previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and ocean-freight / Import operational roles (advantageous)
- Relevant Tertiary qualification i.e., Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Logistics, or Industry-related fields. (Advantageous)
- Sound knowledge of freight forwarding and customs general
- Full-time Australian work rights
- Good knowledge of forwarding business, DGF products (OFR/AFR) and business systems
- Ability to identify and meet customer needs in a pleasant and friendly manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good telephone and E-mail skills
- Commercial attitude
- Good knowledge of English (verbal/written).
- Results-driven and attention to detail.
- A high degree of written, verbal, and organisational skills.
- Proven hands-on experience in using accounting systems is preferred.
- Good experience in MS Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, charts, etc.) required.
