An exciting opportunity exists at Maryborough District Health Service for a caring individual who wishes to complete a Dental Assistant Traineeship with our dental team at MDHS. This is an opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Dental Assisting and learn additional elements including administration and cleaning, client management and operational aspects of the Community Dental department. The trainee will play a key role in providing responsive public dental services to meet each client's dental needs.

Essential
- Commitment to undertake training to complete the Certificate III Dental Assisting as directed by MDHS
- A current satisfactory Police Check and a Working with Children Certificate (or a willingness to attain these during the recruitment process).
- Ability to be flexible and work in a changing environment.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to undertake a broad range of clinical and non-clinical duties in line with learning.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
