Cyber (GRC) Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst, within an established Cyber Security practice.  

 

This role reports to the Cyber GRC Officer and you will join a diverse team with a strong culture of collaboration and support. The role focuses on supporting a pipeline of project initiatives and business as usual operations for cyber security risk, governance, and compliance. We are looking for a team player, agile and comfortable working in a dynamic environment who embraces change. 

 

This is a permanent position based in our Alexandria, Sydney HQ, with flexible, hybrid work options available. 

 

Key duties:  

  • Perform Cyber Security risk assessments on suppliers and the internal IT environment 
  • Supporting assessments, alignment and testing of information security controls to meet relevant government obligations, industry best practice, and remain within Ampol’s enterprise risk appetite and security posture.   
  • Support maintenance and operation of Cyber Security Assurance framework including standards, guidelines, processes, registers, and reporting. 
  • Identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses across internal controls or standards and identify opportunities for enhancement. 
  • Support evaluation and contribute to legislative, compliance, and policy change activities  
  • Support the preparation of cloud security and cloud product risk and cyber security assessments. 
  • Provide support for project initiatives and business and usual operations for cyber security risk and standards compliance 
  • Support security awareness training programs and compliance initiatives as required. 

 

About you: 

  • You will have proven expertise in Cyber Governance, risk, and compliance, either internally or from a consulting firm.  
  • You have worked within a similar Analyst/Compliance position, with experience of running risk assessments within an Enterprise environment. 
  • Certifications in cyber security is desirable 
  • Knowledge on industry regulations and cyber security standards. 
  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline (such as Business, IT, Engineering) or significant workplace equivalent experience. 
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes and their application 
  • You are a team player and can adapt to changing priorities. 
  • Bring specific knowledge of industry environments, architectures, technologies, and IT services
