About the Role/Duties:

Reporting to the local Head of IT, the role will be accountable for:

• Ensure Security controls are effectively operational;
• First point of contact for IT Security Alerts;
• Point of contact for audit and compliance activities;
• Point of contact and facilitation of Local & Global SOC communication;
• Review & recommend updates to security policies and standards;
• Management of the IT Risk Register;
• Coordination of regular Security Penetration & Vulnerability Testing;
• Regular Security Reporting to IT Leadership Team;
• Ensure any open security tasks are actioned by relevant team members; and
• Reviewing system vulnerabilities and identifying deficiencies in system.

Skills & Experience

Within the context of the role described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key experience/capabilities:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst position;
• Working experience supporting and administration with IT governance, risk and compliance;
• Previous experience in IT Security Tools such as EDR, Firewalls, Network Access Control;
• Experience working with a managed SOC and SIEM;
• Ability to operate autonomously while effectively participate as a team member;
• Report design creativity while meeting functional requirements;
• Strong and creative problem solving and documentation skills; and
• You will enjoy working in a diverse environment across multiple business systems and will enjoy developing in your role.
