Cyber Security Program Manager to play a pivotal role in the success of our Cyber Remediation Program at St Vincent’s Health Australia. Reporting directly to the
Cyber Security Program Director, you will provide strategic and tactical support and guidance to Project Managers and Leads, and assist in the delivery of programs and project from planning to execution. As a
Cyber Security Program Manager, you will bring a history of successfully managing and implementing large scale, complex
Cyber Security Programs on time and within budget.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
Cyber Security Projects with exposure to the Hospital/Healthcare industry desirable. You will be a committed, resourceful, and a flexible team player who is willing to make an extra effort to ensure the security and safety of those we serve under St Vincent’s Health Australia.This 12-month Fixed Term Full Time contract is available for immediate start and will be a hybrid working model based in our Group Office Melbourne, Victoria.
Key responsibilities of the role:- Plan and manage the delivery of Cyber Security Programs in accordance with policies and procedures to reduce risk and align with budget
- Ensure projects are carried out with the appropriate methodology and governance ensuring project success
- Govern and lead the end-to-end Cyber Security Program deliverables and engage with employees at all levels including Executives ensuring cost-effective and efficient project decisions are supported and implemented
- Liaise with stakeholders both internal and external ensuring delivery and management of Cyber Security Projects and Programs, providing your project teams with excellent leadership and support
- Manage projects and deliver on project outcomes and reporting by preparing the necessary documentation and registers
- Lead your project teams to success; establish projects with innovation and strategic development, and assist in the management of resources, budget, performance, work allocation, deliverables, KPIs and timeframes of established and new projects
- Guide the project change and communication strategies whilst ensuring project plans are effectively deployed and the organisation is engaged and kept well informed
- Ensure appropriate and timely communications and reporting are upheld to satisfy organisational and program requirements
Things that work for us:
- Minimum 5 years of Program Management experience and 10+ years of Project Management ideally within the Healthcare or similar, large and complex organisation/sector
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity of the Cyber Security and Healthcare landscapes
- Proven negotiation, communication, time management and relationship management skills as well as exceptional stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Experience establishing and scoping new Cyber Security projects based on Program and Business needs
- Understanding and experience in managing risks, issues, dependencies, business impact and change associated with project execution across various business units or facilities
- Professional Project or Program Management Certification and demonstrated track record in applying Project Management principles, methodologies and tools
- Ability to collaborate, guide and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail in a high pressure environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Project Management, Information Technology, Business Management or similar field as relevant
- Current 2024 Flu Vaccine and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations - mandatory
