The role
This brand-new role will be accountable for managing and delivering critical projects within the Cyber Security program of works, working directly with the Cyber Security team and stakeholders across the Enterprise to ensure successful, timely completion of the projects and implementation of Cyber Security initiatives, ensuring that project objectives and deliverables are met.
South East Water is now seeking a highly experienced and confident Project Manager to contribute to the existing team capability and present an insightful approach to Cyber GRC uplift. A key element of the role will require the Project Manager to leverage mainstream Cyber Security networks to collate insights of Cyber and AI landscape trends to inform the Security Uplift journey.
This presents an exciting opportunity for candidates who excel in managing enterprise-level cybersecurity solution delivery, coupled with outstanding skills in people management, communication, and stakeholder relations.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in project management, with a strong focus on managing complex and diverse, large-scale systems/technology programs. As well as managing Cyber Security solution delivery at an organisation-wide level, candidates will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in technology/business and certifications and accreditations such as PMP or PMBOK, Prince and agile methodologies.
The following skills, knowledge and experience are imperative for success in this role:
- Understanding of Cyber Security technology, risk and governance.
- Project management experience must include overseeing all activities related to project direction, scope, deliverables, planning, resource allocation and assignment, project health and reporting, problem resolution and collaboration with senior stakeholders and third-party partners
- Experience in Operational Technology (OT), in both government and large corporates (water or utility organisations preferred).
- Experience delivering transformational solutions and experience in tracking and delivering transformational programs.
- Experience and understanding of Cyber Security frameworks
- Exceptional people, stakeholder management skills and communication skills (both written and verbal)
South East Water operates in a hybrid environment. This role is required to work on site 2-3 days per week.
