The ICT Security Specialist Opportunity
As our ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Security Specialist, you are responsible for safeguarding EventsAir’s digital assets, data, and systems from cyber threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities. Your role is crucial in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and technology resources.
We really are seeking potential candidates that are more experienced in being hands on in this role rather than setting strategy, for example setting up firewalls and dealing with security issues face on, without the need to pass them to other teams.
Responsibilities
Security Infrastructure Management:
- Deploy, configure and manage security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IPS/IDS systems, endpoint protection, DLP and encryption systems
- Implement, monitor and manage SIEM environment
- Monitor network traffic and logs for suspicious activates and proactively response to protect EventsAir assets
Security Awareness, Training and Assessments:
- Conduct penetration testing and assessments to identify weaknesses in systems and applications
- Provide recommendations for remediation and improvements based on test results
- Manage and maintain cybersecurity training for employees
- Foster a culture of security awareness throughout EventsAir
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO27001, PCI-DSS v4, SOC2)
Vendor, Customer & 3rd Part Risk Management
- Evaluate and manage the cybersecurity risks associated with third-party vendors, partners and clients
- Ensure that contractual agreements include appropriate security measures and controls
- Ensure security assessments are managed timely and aligned to EventsAir security posture
Cybersecurity Strategy and Planning:
- Execute, implement and manage ISMS framework policies and reporting for ISO27001, PCI-DSS and SOC2 compliance
- Identify potential security risks, vulnerabilities and devise strategies to mitigate them
- Maintain documentation, policies, procedures and recording detailed logs of security posture and vulnerabilities
Adhoc
- Supporting IT technical and development projects from a IT security perspective
This role is paying between the range of $75,000 - 90,000 + super.
What are we looking for in you?
To be successfully considered for our IT Security Specialist opportunity you will be experienced in the Cyber Security space with a minimum of 8 years' experience, ideally in a similar SaaS company, having recently had hands on experience, "on the tools".
You will be a subject matter expert in this area and bring to the table fresh ideas and a solution driven attitude. The right candidate will also work well under pressure.
Knowledge and experience in ISO27001, PCI-DSS and ISMS, SOC2, IPS/IDS Systems, DLP and encryptions are all significant for our role.
