We are partnering with a well reputed government agency in their search for a Senior Technical Cyber Security Specialist to help implement the delivery of a Cyber Security capability improvement projects.- Based in Brisbane CBD
- Contract to end December with possibility of multiple extensions.

Key accountabilities
- Assist in the design, documentation, and delivery of multiple Cyber Security capability initiatives across the IT and OT environment.
- Implementation of controls aligned with the ASCS essential 8.
- Implementation of role based and privileged access management solutions.
- Assess and evaluate the existing Cyber Security controls through internal stakeholder collaborations to identify areas of improvements.
- Support the Technical security lead in the delivery of the project.
Skills and capabilities required.
- Experience in delivery of Cyber Security capability improvement projects within recommended frameworks.
- Experience with operating systems Windows and Linux.
- Experience in designing and managing virtual infrastructure environments (e.g. VMWare).
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 security solutions, including Defender for Endpoint and config manager.
- Experience in backup solutions, especially at sites with limited bandwidth e.g. Veeam.
- Demonstrated Cyber Security network experience including configuration of access control lists, proxy services.
- Detailed understanding of Azure and network security technologies
- Experience in a project-based environment with the ability to work to strict timelines.
- High level written and verbal communication skills along with high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work collaboratively in team.
