SalaryOur client is an International Precision Engineering firm and is seeking to employ an expereinced Cylindrical Grinder / CNC Machinistfor their factory in Clayton.
All afternoon shift new starters must be able to work 2 to 3 weeks on Dayshift while you get familiar with the company's operations prior to moving to the afternoon shift.
Skills and Experience required:
- Must be trade qualified.
- Able to read and interpret drawings.
- Carry out machining as per engineering drawings and instruction.
- Experience and knowledge in operating micrometres instrument
- Cylindrical grinding of moulds
- Experience in operating lathe and mills
- Operation and programming of CNC machines
- Work to tight tolerances
- Have good attention to detail.
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude.
