AddressOur client, an Engineering organisation in Robinvale requires the services of an experienced Metal Machinist.
Qualifications, skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 year’s experience as a Machinist and / or Trade Qualifications in Fitting and Machining, First Class Machinist or Similar Mechanical Field.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and capability to deliver qualitywork. Experience in working within and supporting accredited Quality Systems (such as ISO 9001).
- High regard for working safely and environmental Responsibility.
- Ability to work in an adaptable team and use own initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assemblingmetal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment
- checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments
- setting guides, stops and other controls on machiningtools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools and dies inmachines and presses, and setting controls for textile machines
- forming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances usingmachining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal
- Excellent attention to detail
- diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenanceof machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical partsandfluid power equipment

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000
