About this Opportunity

Our company is in the midst of rapid expansion in the industry, and as part of this expansion, our Operational Team in North Queensland is seeking an experienced and dedicated Dangerous Goods Truck Driver. We're looking for someone who can handle medium to long-distance operations of multi-combination vehicles, transporting equipment and materials efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety. This position is based in either Townsville or Calen/Mackay region but requires flexibility and a willingness to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

As a Dangerous Goods Truck Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our assigned vehicles, strictly adhering to all written procedures and manuals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting equipment checks and inspections as per company requirements.
• Accurate and timely completion of all transport, delivery, and quality control documentation.
• Long-haul truck driving, covering extended distances as necessary.
• Assisting with general tasks as assigned by your leading hand or supervisor.
• Complete reloads and transportation of EP and AN.
• Support MPU Operations from time to time.

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

• Proven experience in long-haul driving, showcasing your ability to handle the demands of the job.
• A Multi-Combination License, demonstrating your expertise in operating multi-combination vehicles.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel for work, especially on short notice when long distances are involved.
• A Dangerous Goods License, highlighting your commitment to safety and compliance.
• An Explosives Driver's License, if applicable (considered advantageous).
• A strong focus on health and safety practices.
