We are looking for an experienced Data Administrator to support and enhance our data and reporting systems. The successful applicant will be part of a Business Applications & Data team responsible for the administration of data, databases and data related processes at BSR - both in our Azure environment, associated pipelines and within our bespoke software environment. The successful applicant will be skilled in data set maintenance, SQL, data modelling, creating BI reports and automating processes. This is a dynamic IT focused
data role and the successful applicant will need a mix of data management skills and BI reporting skills.

Responsibilities:
- Participate on projects.
- Provide data related guidance and technical advice on reports.
- Work with IT teams to monitor data integrations.
- Work with and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Recommend and implement efficiencies in current data processes.
- Facilitate testing and release of data related projects.
- Data management, monitoring & support.
- Use SQL and other scripting technologies to create and schedule ad-hoc data extracts.
- Liaise with stakeholders on BI report design and requirements.
- Use Power BI to design and publish data models and reports.
- Managing master data.
- Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
- Creating and maintaining relevant, data related technical and training documentation.
Experience/Skills
- Tertiary IT Qualification recommended – or advanced vendor qualifications.
- Azure data environment and resources.
- Work experience as a data analyst/data admin or related field.
- Skilled in SQL.
- Experience in BI report creation and data model design.
- Comfortable in multi-team environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work with stakeholders and collaborate in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
- Powershell scripting and automation.
